About Us

Mission Statement

It is the vision of Crime Stoppers of Citrus County, Inc. to empower the community to have safer neighborhoods, schools and work environments by providing a voice that citizens can use to stand against criminals without fear of retaliation. The program provides the community a means via a toll-free tip line and secure, encrypted website to anonymously provide information to assist law enforcement regarding crime in the community and the whereabouts of wanted fugitives.

Our Board of Directors are comprised of Citrus County citizens who are 18 years of age or older, passed a law enforcement background check and have a passion for helping their local community! Our Advisory Members are non-voting members that are employed by our Law Enforcement partners. These members offer support, unique perspective based on their respective positions in Law Enforcement and a desire to help the local community through their partnership with Crime Stoppers!
